Amy took the week off for her birthday (Happy Birthday, Amy!), so no history lesson today. I’m not going to be around a whole lot today, either. Trying to take it easy for Kesha tonight. I called the theater on Friday and got something worked out with the office that they’ll let me and my party in before doors open so we can get in and seated without standing in line. So pretty much like reserved seating, only we get our pick of what’s left after the VIPs get in. Cross your fingers for me that it all works out and I’ll see everyone tomorrow!

For the loser, weirdo kids that make it out of tumultuous teen years alive, for the broken, shattered people who paste ourselves back together with the psychic equivalents of gold and lead.” Somehow, somewhere along the way, we learn to find each other, and we – the repaired broken – help each other out. Without these other like-minded humans, the people who are repeatedly hurt, broken, damaged, these people who rise out of bed every morning  regardless… without them, there would be no road map, no reason to think that I and I alone feel just how awful we are to each other on the regular.
